This image entitled “The Drakus Stone” is a personal illustration that was accepted into the Ballistic Publication, Elemental: The World’s Best Discreet Art, published in 2004. It is my first “art book” illustration. The other Illustrations I have done have been either magazine or poster illustrations, and box cover illustrations. I enjoy illustration projects because it allows me to pose a figure and compose an image as a storytelling effort rather than building and sculpting figures for posing only. Each task in 3d CG image production is a layer that adds life, and the further down that path you go, the more opportunity there is to watch the work come to life.
